Position: SALES EXECUTIVE (IMPORT EXPORT)
1. Job Description
• Actively search for new customer information through information channels.
• Offer freight rates for related services to customers in need and follow up to get orders.
• Record feedback on prices and customer needs and report to the Manager.
• Negotiate with customers on terms related to orders: prices, payment terms, commissions... and get approval from the Board of Directors before closing contracts with customers
• Update customer data / information exchanged with customers / successful transactions for the Manager and related departments to monitor / process on the company's management software
• For successfully quoted shipments, open jobfile, update the software on daily work with customers, confirm purchase & sale prices, make contracts with customers. Transfer information to related departments to continue processing orders. Support related departments in the process of making customers' goods until the goods are transported to the destination
• Coordinate with departments to support customers in solving problems arising during the transportation process
• Support the accounting department to track customers' debts.
• Make a list, send payment requests to the company for the amount of commission to be paid to customers periodically or immediately upon request or according to the company's regulations.
• Support business information, consulting or resolving customer complaints. • Report on business plans/situation to the Department Head periodically or upon request.
• Analyze and evaluate the market situation, customer changes to propose appropriate approach plans & advise the Sales Manager.
• Plan to visit old customers to maintain business relationships.
2. Detailed Experience/Skills
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in the same field of logistics, international trade
- Graduated from University/College majoring in International Economics, Business Administration, etc.
- Proficient in office software (Word, Excel, etc.)
- English: good reading and writing (can write emails in English)
- Sales skills & customer persuasion
- Skillful communication with customers/partners
- Quick problem handling and solving skills
- Reasonable management and work arrangement skills
- Ability to coordinate and work in groups
- Ability to withstand pressure.
